Your privacy.
Just enough to make your break work.
Without an account, we store a random visitor identifier in a necessary cookie. It remembers your daily discovery and prevents repeats. We don’t fingerprint your device.
With an account, we store your email, a securely hashed password, and your viewing history. An HttpOnly session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. Your history follows your account across devices.
No ad tracking.
We record anonymous event names such as a fact request or a share click. These events contain no email, visitor identifier, or browsing profile. There are no advertising cookies or third-party analytics scripts.
Sources and sharing.
Sources lead to external websites with their own privacy policies. Sharing uses your device’s share menu or copies a link when you choose to do so.
Your data.
Anonymous identifiers expire after a year. Viewing history stays with your identifier or account to prevent repeats. Account deletion is available through the site operator; deleting an account removes its viewing history and invalidates its existing sign-ins. There is no mailing list or payment information.
